So, just read this last night, and while I did run in to quite a few instances where your wording seemed odd, I really enjoyed it! There's far too few stories with futa-on-male where it's the futa on top with the male taking it, and I hope you continue with this story, either with another chapter or a sequel. I've got a few crazy ideas where you could go with this, but I'll keep them to myself unless you'd like me to share them with you.
I would like to chime in on what Satch is talking about, if I may. Let's be frank here. The male characters from the show are, in all honesty, not very interesting at all. Partly that's because it's a show originally targeted towards girls, and partly because most of the writing focuses on the main characters (who are all female). That means that if you want a male/female interaction you either have to develop a male character's personality yourself (often leading to people complaining that said character is acting too 'out of character'), create an OC that's more developed than the males in the show (and honestly, most OCs are not received too well in clopfics), or have one of the female characters fill the male role.
This usually ends up with a female character becoming futa, with the main purpose of filling the 'male' role in the relationship. And yes, that can seem like they might as well just be made into a full male, but that would mean changing the character even more, and thus diverging even further from the established character. Personally, I'm not much for R63 stuff (and no, I do not consider futa to be part of R63), and I expect a lot of people feel the same way.
I'm not sure what Hellticket's intent is as far as that goes, his story is rather short and doesn't delve into these aspects much, but in my own story, part of the plot revolves around how suddenly having a cock affects the character. Is she still a mare? Is she just a stallion now? How will she deal with these new urges? Simply turning a female character male would preclude a lot of these issues, and limit the potential for drama in the story. Of course, that being said, if the point of the story is just for some fun, raunchy clop, all bets are off.
And in this case, a futa-on-male story, there's also the idea of the role-reversal. Without the futa element, a clopfic between Twilight and Spike would most likely just involve Spike penetrating Twilight in some fashion. But making Twilight a futa suddenly opens up the potential to reverse the roles. A male being penetrated by a 'female', in effect taking on the female (and in some senses the 'submissive') role in the pairing. That fact that in many stories futas are often much more well hung than males enhances this perspective. While there's nothing stopping Twilight from letting Spike penetrate her, in stories where the main focus is on the role-reversal, the act of the futa penetrating the male is the primary focus, and the male penetrating the futa is often just secondary to it. If Hellticket decided to run with that idea, we could see Spike slipping further into his role as the 'female', while Twilight becomes more and more the 'man' of the house. It all depends on what appeals to the author, and what direction he (or she) wants to go with the story.
