Purple Prosie seems to have everything a writer could ask for. She churns out a successful book every two months, the Princess Cadance claims to be her biggest fan, Purple Prosie has financial security, everything seems to be going well to anypony on the outside looking in.
From the inside looking out though, it is a very different story.
Purple Prosie is a deeply flawed individual with two companions, Morose and Melancholy. She has a growing addiction to alcohol. She's bitter and burned out on love.
And she hates everything she writes.

This was going to be a 100k+ piece about the writer finding herself, raising a foal for a while as a single mother, writing novels about the dangers of raising a foal that wind up as comedic best sellers, finds love with her editor, and finally becomes happy with her life.
Foal danger = projectile vomit that flies into your mouth and causes you to choke nearly to death as it goes down your throat and clogs your nostrils.
