This iteration of Silver Dragon is obsolete
Dissappearances have been happenning all over Equestria, and princess Celestia found a simple whistle within the chambers of dangerous objects hidden deep below Canterlot Castle. She does not know what it is, but it has been glowing violently as of late. She sends it to her student for a more thorough studying while she deals with personal affairs. While Twilight innocently studies and tries to figure out this strange whistle, she will bring about a great catastrophe and a great savior to Equestria. Although, it isn't exactly a creature expected to sport these traits.
This is only an insert of a character I have been working on for several years now. I believe I have rendered him non-Gary-Stu now, and my only hope of that possibility is to hear what the community has to say about him. If he still turns out to be a Mary-Sue, I'll delete the story. He is non affiliated to anything, and was the cause of my tiredness of hearing every superhero have "man" at the end of their names.

This "Silver Dragon" character smells slightly Sue-ish to me.
399311 That's why I'm working on him. Just know that in the world he comes from, there are about six other tribes whose basic foot soldier can wipe him across the floor without any effort. Perhaps I should mention this in the story?

399319 I find that it isn't enough to say "This character would totally lose if this specific set of circumstances were met." Right now, you've established that Silver Dragon could kick the ass of any of the ponies in any given context, and if the prologue is anything to go by, the demons you've set up to antagonise him are powerless in comparison. Keep in mind that if you want the ponies to be useful to the story, you'll have to fight at their level.
399338 True, but...he cheated a little. What with those demons only being a low....almost made me trip foo! I'll explain everything once he reaches Luna. I've made this little story just so that I could level his power. He is a leader after all, and leaders must be very powerful. This is the wall I've met. I've wanted to make him very powerful, but just enough.

Original fiction and RPG characters can go either way at this point depending on the writer. Fanfiction characters may need some adjustment, however.
Just one thing, when Belforay is blocking the Elements and he says they aren't his boon, he's saying they aren't a blessing of his. A more appropriate term would be bane.

7035304 Ugh. I forgot about this horror. I've since refined the Silver Dragon. He's no longer a mary-sue.
7035339 Bah! Mary and Gary were invented so folks can slap it on anything without giving a true in depth analysis of why the character is 'too much' of anything specific. And yes the character was OP, but it still amused me and thus was more than acceptable and enjoyable.
