So, let me get this straight. You were just kinda sitting there at your computer and said to yourself, "Gosh Dang-o-Darn. I have no idea how I will write today as the words just seem not to flow. Oh, I know. I will write a completely dark and creepy short story out of nowhere." Then you wrote this Nightmare Night brand of story. Am I correct? If so then I am scared. Oh my. I am very interested in what comes next. Obviously Sweetie Belle has become host to this creature. The creature in question has control over most/all of Sweetie's motor functions, yet for some reason Sweetie Belle still has her mind. That begs the question: Does everypony else still exist in their minds but the creatures prevent them from doing anything? Because that would mean that Cheerilee had to watch what happened to Sweetie Belle (and possibly every student) and could do nothing but internally scream and cry. Maybe I'm thinking too deeply. Regardless, good job on packing so much into this short chapter!

If you've ever had experiences with Halo's Flood, that's similar to what I'm drawing on here. A much, much more subtle version of it, which in turn can be made even more sinister.
Don't forget that the rest of the class, including Cheerilee, is still at large.

I can see where you draw the flood out of this and yeah this is definitely more sinister. When I first saw the flood in Halo 1 it honestly kinda scared me because of the mass amounts there were. I think I would be WAY more scared of this then flood though.
