Friends. They come and they go. They bring happiness, sorry, joy, and worry. Through the thick and thin, they'll be by our sides and carry us whenever the world becomes too heavy. What matters most, though, are the footprints they leave in our hearts.
I really have to wonder why you included an entire scene from the show, word-for-word, as the first chapter of this, especially since this is told first-person from the perspective of someone who wasn't there. Retelling show scenes should only be done when you can add something to them, or tell them a different way, which you didn't. You might want to reconsider that first part.
Well, I'll admit that Dash doesn't quite feel in-character, but I can more or less buy it since she's younger. The POV character is not entirely likeable, but his characterization is consistent, so I think I'm interested to see how this turns out.
