Sparkers16

My name is Sparkers16 and I like ponies!

T

It's been nine hundred ninety-nine years since the Mane Six lead a rebellion against the anarchic, immortal alicorn, Princess Celestia. Celestia banished them all to the sun and moon, and smothered the flames of rebellion. She divided Equestria into twelve districts, none of them able to communicate or travel to one another. And to punish the citizens of Equestria for turning against her, she re-created the Equestria Games into a pageant where each district sends two ponies, a filly and a colt, to fight to the death in a dangerous arena. There were those who struggled against their oppression in the beginning, but as the years became decades became centuries, all hope was lost.

But this year, Celestia has sensed that the spirits of the Elements of Harmony have risen once again. Knowing that the Elements are the only thing that can stop her, Celestia will do anything in her power to destroy these six ponies. Especially if that means guaranteeing them a spot in this year's Equestria Games.

(Obviously, this is a Hunger Games crossover. I know you guys have seen plenty of these, and most of you hate them, but please, just give it a chance. Don't judge a book by its cover.)

An interesting start. It'll be nice to see how you incorporate hunger games lore with equrestrias.

Here's something I've never seen before! MOAR! :pinkiecrazy:

I love Hunger Games Crossovers.

And to be honest, I've read practically every one on this website that I've came across. Most of them are shitty, but I just can't ignore them. So, thus, why I gave this story a shot.

I'm not disappointed. What most people tend to do with this story is to speed over the reapings, the backstories(which I believe you did enough off considering it's the third chapter) and such. So far, Maple Leaf seems like a very believable character, as long as she doesn't turn out to be overpowered. Ten ponies at once? That worries me. Unless she's due to become the next Element of Magic, then it makes sense. Haha.

Either way, I'll be honest, of the 25 or so Equestria Games stories that I've read, this one ranks the top 5. SO FAR. I'm not disappointed, and I'm actually curious as to what you do. Besides, I find your writing style absolutely addictive. It's very simple, yet... it makes me think. It's hard to describe.

I sincerely hope you continue writing this story. I'm going to like and fav, just in case you do. Don't give up on this yet. The more chapters you produce, the more notoriety it'll get over time. And with that, I'm out!

Peace!
