UPDATE 2021: Y'know, part of me wants to remember the good that came out of this one, it's what gave me my start in the zombie genre... but on the other hand, there could've been much more, here. Both in writing and tone– I may have been a little... eager... in some places.

Okay I wanna start by saying that I want you to take what I say next not as bullying or anything but just positive advice on things to help your story get some better views.
First of all you've got a few grammar error in some places that you should reread your story out loud to find.
Second,this story feels just rushed on things,like just feels like no build up at all. One minute their going to Canterlot then bam zombies for no reason.
Third since this is a mlp fic you its fine if you wanna give your OC pony characters some slightly more creative silly names. Like instead of matt and dave maybe macaroni and dewy bingo.
This is overall a really good story idea but its just going a bit on the fast side. Even if you wanna rush to the middle of it all you need to build it up some.

Due to Rainbow Rocks, I won't be working on this until it comes out. I'll be working on other projects until then.
So somehow characters that died in the walking dead game got resurrected into centaurs in the MLP universe just as the zombie apocalypse happened and for whatever reason not given, prince blueblood decided that an apocalypse was a good time to be a tyrant in Canterlot. For another reason also not given everyone thinks that makes sense. Is that summed up right?
I'll give this much, the twist with them becoming centaurs is interesting but odd they remember there former lives that vividly.
5532881 That's pretty much it, except that they didn't all ressurect at the same time. They were sent there instead of the afterlife, and EVERYBODY who died from Amy to Bob is in Equestria as if it is Limbo.
Ok, I thought this was a case of someone writing a story for the first time ever. But then I came across Applejacks line, and it was... Just hilarious. I'm grinning like a madman from how unreadable it was. God that was funny. If I ever come across a fitting situation, I'm definitely quoting it.
5579382 Well, thanks! I didn't expect much from it, I just wanted to be creative when coming to alternate accents. If I add characters with southern or fashionista accents, I will take advantage of that, and if you have a problem with it, just let me know and I'll fix it.
You know, seeing as how it's a classical zombie apocalypse, doesn't that make bringing in The Purge redundant?
Well, the Purge is meant to drive most of the ponies on edge, like the Governor. He drove Rick and his people out of the prison and into a living hell as he saw the world for what it was. Also the Purge will expand in many ways later on, from characters turning evil to old villians becoming allies...
