True, a Gyrm shield works pretty well, as does the armor from the area; that passive damage, though, man . . .

the Allone's knight armor , it's true it's a good one , but trust me once , you get the smelter demon armor , you're going to love it , to protect you from the fire , i used that armor and the same shield to beat the ancient dragon took me 30 minutes , but it was worth it.

Personally, I'd be a bit worried on how they might try to implement it. Dying from bosses is one thing, but dying because water is an instant kill might make me a tad irritated. Though, if done well, it'd probably be pretty epic.
