If I'm thinking right, there are some species of dragon that do something similar. Of course you usually find this behavior with insects or a few species of birds or possibly fish.

Or it could be something completely different, like pegasi are actually born from clouds. That would be interesting.
Okay, so it looks like it's not anything super-sinister, just a chance for pegasi to cut loose and do pegasus stuff without having to restrict themselves to two dimensions for the sake of other ponies. The racism and the secrecy are a little worrying, though.

The next one's opening has been sitting and being stared at for quite some time now. It's going back into active production around now. I've had some time off for several reasons, and hopefully I'm ready now to move forward.
The next thing that comes out will be either this or a Frozen fanfic ^^;
