A bit of background info on my request is in order I guess. I should also mention I have a dark sense of humour.
I find the idea of being woken up to find a lover having sex with you or intending to have sex with you in your warm safe bed to be an amusing prospect. One of my friends got to visit one of his friends who had moved to a different province. She wanted to have a "house warming". It lasted a whole week XD. Apparently, she encouraged him to have sex with her while she was sleeping, going as far as sleeping in the nude. He never took up that particular offer (boo!). He told me about that when he came back and I thought the situation to be quite hot and it's been a fantasy of mine ever since.
The whole situation can also sound like a rape to those who don't know what's going on and I like those kind of humorous twists.
I guessed that the guys should have some sort of consent to come over beforehand, so why not have the mare call them over for a bit of a pick-me-up because she was feeling a bit down? But for what reason... losing your job is pretty depressing.
I wanted the guys to be scarred and tough looking to seemingly reinforce the idea that they were on the surface bad rapists or something, but actually kind individuals. Don't judge a book by it's cover kind of thing.
I went through a few situations that would be tragic, but ironic, and already fit what I had already come up with. A firehouse burning down seemed ironic as hell and would be a good reason for the guys having scars.
But why would the house burn down? I went with negligence and falling asleep fit in theme with the sleep sex.
I then came up with the idea that the mare was a chronic sleeper or that her special talent was falling asleep at the drop of a hat. The name Sleepy Time came quick and as a bit of a creepy reference to the "Sleepy Time" film reel in the horror film Sinister. In it, a child drugs his family and ties them to their beds. When they wake up, he goes to each room and films them as he slits their throats. I'd like to believe I snuck that in there good...
The cutie mark came from the idea of abruptly face planting onto a pillow and some feathers bursting out. It also went with the tickling fetish I wanted in there. Feet tickling is my main fetish so feather imagery is a must. It's also why she's a Pegasus; they're practically feather dispensers and you can tickle their hoovesies with them limitlessly, even if they break the feathers accidentally. Gabby has a thing for clean hooves so it rather appealed to him, too.
To have them all be coworkers made for a particularly good reason for the guys to come in quickly and save Sleepy Time's ass and get scarred up. Eheh... I've had some experience with improper workplace conduct with another guy and it's awesome fun.
Yeah, I kinda tailored the plot to something that would appeal to Gabby, possibly greatly. I think it's somewhat similar to his trio of buffalos in his Clip Clip anthology.
As for the names of the firemen, I couldn't think of anything. Hell, some of the names I came up with were "Buffle Kill" and "Rough Rugger". Pretty lame...
It took awhile, but Rushing Ravine came to mind as another morbid reference. Why would a ravine be rushing? Because you jumped off and are headed straight to the bottom. It fit in with the native theme going with buffalos. I also like to think it's a heroic name, charging headlong into suicidal situations to rescue someone and Rushing probably got the most injured...
For Andrei... there's nothing creepy or morbid here :P I couldn't think of a good European name so I looked up popular ones on Wikipedia. So yeah, no particular reference here. Maybe to Andrei 3000 from Outkast. "Hey Ya" is a very happy song.
I like how Gabby made Sleepy plump. I know he's partial to plump ladies, so this addition probably made him like writing this? Being plump also fits with the pillow theme. Personally, I prefer women of average build and small, apple like breasts, but I do find plump women quite enticing as well.
I also like how he added in polyamory. I originally visioned them as friends, but this adds a whole new level of love. Quite fascinating.
The tickling turned me on greatly. I like how the frogs were described as fleshy and having the scent of lotion. It's in the details...
