Don't mind me, I'm just sitting here and working on stories with a religious fervor.

"Traveling to the past? Heh, it's actually not as bad as everyone says it is, so long as you follow certain restrictions you'll be fine. Now, traveling to the future? That is a whole other ball game. Because now you're dealing with inevitability."

Through some polite prompting on the part of Dr. Whooves, Twilight and her friends willingly travel to the future for fun and adventure.

Heh, your portrayal of the Doctor made me laugh, not the mocking kind, but the good kind, mind you.

Anyways, this Doctor Whooves story of yours made me curious, so you get a fav and an upvote from me.

I'll be awaiting for the next update.

Maybe Twilight should have teleported right next to the Doctor and then he would have also been encased in the force field.:pinkiecrazy:

Twilight's tree does have floorboards- they're magically grown in by the tree for some reason. You can see it in the show.

...Seriously? Well, my perspective on the world has just been completely shattered. I suppose I should set aside my prejudices and look at magical trees in a new light.

I'm honestly a bit surprised to see that this fic had been added to somebody's favorites. After all, it is a dead fic.

...Well, not completely dead. The 'inevitable' aspects of the mane six's future that I had planned for this fic were incorporated into Lessons Learned from Loyalty and Truth Earned from Honesty.

...I guess no story is ever completely dead.

5188377 It's good- I fav'd it so that you would notice and start writing again :I

...Right, about that, I don't plan on continuing this particular fic, because it's been replaced by my Tutelary Spirit universe. The original idea for this fic was the Mane 6 going into the future and learning that they will all eventually turn into alicorns, and having to emotionally deal with that inevitability. When this fic didn't become very popular, or even very liked, I lost interest in continuing to write it and moved on to other projects. I eventually came back to this story, much more experienced now, took a look at it, discovered that I no longer much cared for the direction it was going, and decided to reimagine the story's entire concept.

The result was Lessons Learned from Loyalty, with Truth Earned from Honesty following behind when it proved more critically praised than my previous stories.
