Your past is something you have to live with. A reality of life. Every success, every decision, every mistake, will live in your past. They will always stay there. You cannot escape it.

This is the tale of a pony who thought his past was blown away by the winds of time. He is testing a new design of the Steel Ranger armor created as part of a mysterious project, when a series of events lands him underneath a collapsed outpost for 200 years. With hardly any memories and only the wasteland to greet him, Razor must set out with his new, and slightly unusual, friend, Paragon, to recover his lost past. However, your past can be filled with all kinds of secrets, secrets that can tear your world apart.

This is an unofficial side story (that means it is not endorsed, or probably even known, by kkat) to kkat's Fallout: Equestria. If you haven't read it (meaning Fallout: Equestria) yet, I definitely recommend it, and many plot details will be missed in this story. Huge thanks to HeroeDeLaVida for help with plot and characterization, and Fiendofthet for help with proofreading and editing. Couldn't do this without you guys!

Note: This story is currently being rewritten. I've finished chapters 1, 2, and 3, and am working on chapter 4. Because of this, this story is sort of on hiatus in that it will be a while before the next new chapter. Please bear with me as I'm updating the story.

It's great you started your own story.

I welcome you, and I warn you to take cover. Negative comments, they will rain down on you like a storm that never ends... well not really, but it still sounds cool right?

Anyway, good luck on your story.

His suits kind off an asshole:rainbowlaugh:
worth a watch

Awesome first chapter. Can't wait to read more.

I was skeptical at first, since I've read a lot of disappointing FO:E side stories. I gave it a shot, and I enjoyed it. Very nice work, I'm looking forward to more.

This should be good, no complaints so far

Sorry about it being another short chapter, but I kind of liked where it ended, so I just ended it there.

Nice chapter but i cant help but feel bad for razor at the end:fluttercry: thank you fluttercry emoticon

Yeah, I always hate the stories where the main character seems to have no emotion. It makes the characters seem so inhuman, or inpony, or whatever that would be.

Yep, defiantly can't wait got more. Did you get the idea for the Paragon armor from the medical power armor in Fallout 3? :rainbowhuh:

Actually, one day I was thinking about how funny it would be to make an iron man/my little pony crossover, but then I realized that it would actually make sense to put it in a fallout setting. Then I began thinking I just might be able to combine it with an idea I had been having for a fic based off of the song "September" by thelivingtombstone. Then, I just worked from there and got to here.

Great chapter mate keep up the great work:ajsmug:

Another great chapter. I really am happy to see this being updated again. You sir, deserve a moustache :moustache:

good chapter cant wait for the next

Ditto... keep up the great work.

That moment when you notice your second chapter has more views than your first. wut? :rainbowderp:

nice chapter next one sounds like its gonna be good

Actually, shotgun and small arms fire are exactly what armor is designed to stop. Based on what he was up against, Razor could probably have sashayed in and punched all the slavers to death if all they have are shotguns and pistols. The rifles might present a challenge, but even then, his machine gun rocket launchers would tear them to shreds. I'll just chalk it up to him not knowing the suit's limitations, but that makes me wonder why Paragon forgot about it...

Over 9000. Punch faceplate.

I was hoping it was subtle enough to prevent the face-hoofing. I get the feeling it didn't work...

Poor Red and unnamed soldier, vaporized in a megaspell detonation. Also, this splinter Ranger faction seems dangerous. Something tells me they're going to be returning sometime in the near future to make a second go at Razor's armor.

Oh, you have no idea.

Like, quite literally, you have no idea how much thought I have put into that group. So much effort... :pinkiecrazy:

"I turned around to see the blue stallion snatching a large rifle out of the unicorn's telekinetic field. How were they still alive? An entire freaking building collapsed on them. You don't just brush that off."

Oh, the irony! :rainbowlaugh:

Indeed, I did. Are you still continuing this little gem of a story? It's really good.

Well, I'm actually in the process of rewriting the first few chapters, since I hadn't exactly planned it out when I had first started. I'm on chapter 3 right now, and I'm going to continue the story once I catch up to my most recent chapter

yay! more FO:E! I should probably plan mine out a little more. I've just been making it up as I go along. To me, it's more of a writing experiment than anything else. The lack of 'character development' has made it a little hard to read.:twilightoops:

but hopefully that'll change over the next couple of chapters.

I'd still like to see more of this story. It was quite interesting.

EDIT: I derped (I see those blog posts...)

Yeah, progress had pretty much stopped up until recently. Thankfully, I've been able to get something that had been bothering me mostly off my mind and I'm back in action

Sooo >.>
Its been a little while *coughs* and I was wondering if you were going to continue this story?
If you need assistance I'm sure I could provide some ^.^

I don't normally offer aid anymore as I have many fanfics to attend to on top of life, but for the guy who greeted me on this site I would be more than happy to help. Let me know if you need it.
