The leader of a new empire called the Tailamento Empire, makes his way into the crystal castle and kidnaps Shining Armor. The only way to get him back is to either give up half of Equestria or fight for him. While Celestia stays to fight with the Crystal Empire, she sends Twilight and her friends on a dangerous journey they soon won't forget. The challenges will put their friendship to the test.

Ok not a bad first start. I like where you are going with this and I am excited to see just how the mane six are going to battle the Empire. I guess the thing I don't like about it so far is everypony's reaction to this event. I don't believe it is genuine. Like for example, Princess Celestia is told that one of her closest allies has had war declared on them, and her first reaction is
I feel like that is a bit out of her character to say that. Also when Spike is done talking to Applejack I don't think that they would have any reason to laugh considering the gravity of the situation.
Other than that I can honestly say that I am excited to see where you will take this story and that I look forward to your next chapter!
