Wow. Visiting this site again was like going back to my old neopets page. So much nostalgia.

This story is a sequel to Six Standard Deviations from the Mean

Canceled: I forgot my characters.

After millions tried, two humans managed to worm their way into the hearts of enough ponies, and were able to reverse the laws against humans. However, Celestia's thousand year old wounds were still fresh, and she couldn't bear the thought of humans going anywhere near ponies... So she attacked.

Now Lyra is traveling back to Avaira--the land of the griffins, where humans are sacred--to tell them the news. They knew about the laws, but now with Celestia's outbreak fresh in the minds of Equestrians, (and her political power somewhat diminished because of it, at least in Ponyville) and with the laws changing, the Avairians might finally open up to the ponies more.

It all depends on how Lyra tells her story...

This story is very well written- it reminds me of the feudalistic societies of the middle ages. How certain people had rights to a certain degree- I'm interested to see if Celestia will change her attitude, or if someone from the human world ends her anarchy :trollestia:... if that's how you want to lead the story, anyway. I'll be following Lyra's experience.

Well, the prequel to this story has some of that, but those are still unanswered questions.

And I think someone as old as Celestia could take a very long time to change her mind...

An interesting idea, I'll take a look when there's more to this story. But I'm not usually one for adventure stories, usually.

Thanks.

While the overall story is supposed to be a world changing adventure with incredibly high stakes, I aim to make the interactions and everything more personal and less tense, like you might see in slice of life. These are visualization sessions after all, and school is stressful enough; I wouldn't be doing these if I got more stress out of them than fun.

I'm sad to hear you cancelled this story. Hope you bring it back someday.

Not likely. I forgot what the main characters were like, so I'd have to off the humans somewhere and stick with Lyra...

Hmm...

Some of the human characters were tulpas (they're kind of like intentional multiple personalities (I experiment a lot, and when I don't have the resources to experiment outside my body...)). Tulpas change rapidly. Any continuation of the story would either have to explain for drastically different characters, or it would have to focus solely on Lyra. I wanted to focus solely on Lyra, but I had no idea how to do that.

Sorry... :fluttershysad:
