Swan just wanted a quiet visit to the bookstore. Instead, she finds trouble in the form of a generous grey unicorn, a pervert, and a brown-noser. Also, the books are quite troublesome in their own right.
This is sort of a prequel to this story. Everything sort of connects so far, fleshing out various characters.
I really hope that folk like this one. It was a fun piece to write, and a great mental exercise of turning what amounts to a background pony into a character that allows me to lead into a story, while still mostly remaining a background pony, or at least a good one shot character.
If there is any worthwhile interest in this story at all, more trips to the bookstore are planned.
It's funny and good. I like it.
That was fun.
What a fun story, a nice change from what I have usually been reading.
Wonder what that Luna is up to....
This is cute, but I found it a bit difficult to get into as Swan very quickly sinks into the background and is overshadowed by random characters I don't know and have no connection to. Still amusing and worth a thumb.
I almost expected glow to pay for her tab.
Swan paused, saying nothing for a time. “I don’t know?” She finally replied.
"I don't know" is a statement not a question, Drop the question mark and end it with a period.
