This is a series of character vignettes I've written to help find the voices and behaviors of the characters I'll be using.
They're not connected to each other, nor to the big upcoming romance story they're in preparation for.
These are just little rough sketches I'm making in preparation for my masterpiece.
Still, some people might enjoy taking a look at them, I suppose, so I'm publishing them.
Enjoy what there is, and I hope to see you reading the final story this is all in preparation for: a commission for/collab with PonySlayer.

I don't really care that much about garnering views for this particular one, though.
These vignettes are just done for my own practice; if anybody reads them, that's a nice extra bonus... if not, who cares? They're just practice for a big fic I'm planning, helping me get a feel for the characters.
(I'll do one little short for each major character, then I think I might try doing a short 1st person chapter for all the really important ones, to really get inside their heads.)

Hm, in future chapters, I'll put author's notes at the top, trying to explain a little. Hopefully that will help.
...and I'm not really sure that most of them fit a genre at all... they're generally just random SoL's with barely any plot to speak of.
(And don't worry, despite the tags, none of them will get more sexual than Vinyl's segment. That's the worst it'll be within these sketches. -- Though the final story will have optional clop chapters.)

Yeah, 'the other dude' in the story is always amorphous, and pretty much just an avatar of myself. The focus is on the character I'm practicing, so I don't build the other character any more than necessary. He's mostly just a self-insert, occasionally with details changed in order to interact with the character better.
Basically, I'm stepping into my own story world to have a conversation with each character before I begin to really write them in the main story.
It's a great way to get to know and build your characters, and I highly recommend it.
