Everypony who knows and puts up with Pinkie Pie and her antics is used to her spontaneous behavior, and her Pinkie Sense. Twilight herself had come to assume that was simply who the pink pony was. But one day, she discovers the true source of Pinkie's abilities. And unfortunately for her, a secret like this can only be revealed in one way... death.
Inspired by the Death Hole glitch in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and all of the crazy things you can do there.

Interesting so far, but you really need an editor. Your otherwise normal paragraphs are completely screwed up due to poor formatting. Space them out and you're good.
Also, didn't Twilight tell anybody during those four days about her experience? Wouldn't being nearly mauled to death by a timberwolf following an existentially confusing experience be worthy of discussion at least once? Because I'd imagine it being the very first thing she'd do, and would likely tell as many ponies as possible. She didn't even tell Pinkie when she met her; she just went straight to the Pinkie sense.

Hello, have you even seen the place where it's at? The Everfree Forest, which almost nopony ventured into before Twilight came to live in Ponyville. Since it's full of monsters and plants that could potentially kill you, I doubt anyone would go there for just a random hole, especially one that is bottomless unless you die while falling into it.
4614329 True...though many ponies could have ended up there over time. The ponies that do enter the Basement seem to be immortal, so even those that fell in centuries ago should still exist...right?
4614542 They're not immortal. I mean, yes, they die every time they fall down the hole, but that doesn't make them immortal. If they die and they weren't falling down into the basement then they'll die, just like everyone else.
I'll be going a bit more into detail on how it all works in the next chapter. Hopefully, that'll clear up the confusion about them being demons or immortal or all this stuff.

At some point in the story, you (guys) have to use the phrase, "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" and to a lesser extent, "You shouldn't have done that."
