This action-packed story is told in Luna's perspective. It is now Luna's turn to teach a student of her own. That student however happens to be Trixie Lulamoon. Of course Twilight Sparkle objects to this but will she be able to convince Luna of Trixie's dark side? What if all of this is part of Trixie's plan to become 'The great and all powerful' mare that she so desires to be?

I remember another fic where Luna organized a contest to choose her own faithful student, where Trixie was merely one among hundreds of contenders.
From the way Luna was received in Ponyville, maybe she just scares other ponies too much to apply.
Trixie is a great fit as her student. I don't think she's evil so much as ambitious and extremely desperate to impress others.

I like it, kinda sucks that the fic is dead... I really like seeing gamer Luna in a quazzy-serious story, it doesn't happen too often.
