I like everything here except Rifleman, he seems a bit 'self-insert' to me.
Why even have him?
Otherwise, this is a intresting idea.
Word of advice though; ensure this is a commedy, because Team Fortress 2 is a very commediac game so it would alienate some people if you make it a dark story like you seem to be doing.

So, about 24hrs after posting and reception is positive. Lets address a few things first.
Rifleman is not a self-insert, believe me, but I understand the impression.
Character development is coming and he is here for sake of much needed conflict within the team.
Should he prove unpopular down the road, then I have a back up plan that doesn't deter to far from the original plot.
As far as comedic elements, I can throw in what I can but it is by no means a strong point of mine. You can expect to see small things like the "Sniper sharpening jars" or Demo using Scrumpy to do mundane tasks, typical things like that.
You can also expect the next chapter in about three-four days. After that I can speculate a full week and a half to churn out more chapters.

Thinking about it now the Lil Drummer Boy should be a set of civil war items for TF2 for the soldier... though I suppise his rocket luncher would hve to e a cannon or something.

Rifleman's gun will be referred to as "machine gun". Like how Sniper has a "sniper rifle" or Heavy has a "mini gun" as the game calls it, or even Demo's "grenade launcher" its generic.
Rifle will earn/find new weapons much like anyone else, and also learn his place as a team player.
This is all long term plot and character development.
And for the record, your calling judgement on the whole thing when only two people and one pony spoke, and not much was actually said. Rifleman's blip was a TV reference.

The Ak is classified as an assault rifle, so I'm still within jurisdiction to call him Rifleman, a simple generic name. At this point it comes down to personal opinion of classification.
Otherwise he would be called Infantry man or machine gunner or... Gunman... I might be on to something with that last one, but you see my point. Rifleman has a good ring and it works.
Thinking about it... The Gunman or Gunfighter, maybe Marksman. What do you think?
Actually, after I asked some friends for their opinion, he can be called Rifleman and unless I find a really good name he will stay that way. This gives him a broad range of weapons and potential traits.

so technicaly you can have like 3 overkillers 4 max. and thats Heavy, Engineer, demoman, and soldier
and the overkiller is medic and pyro

It is difficult to truly pin point his German tongue and his dialogue patterns. It made sense to me at the time. It will get better with practice.

17,000 words in five weeks. This is proving to be quite a busy hobby I've developed, and I couldn't be happier. Of course the only thing that could make me happier is to get featured, but I digress. A dream we all wish to come true with every story we publish.
This is getting better. It's developing past the obvious pony-fights-TF2 tropes which have been done on other stories, sticking to a good tempo of updates, and becoming very interesting. Looking forward to more...

Celestia can't be killed for similar reasons to why the mane 6 can't. Sending them back without the one to raise the sun is kinda harsh, even for humans. Its like taking someones brakes from their car in front of them and then telling them to hit the road, it don't feel right.
