Word Worthy

A teller of tales, whenever I can manage to find my quills and inkwell, that is! Send me a PM if you want to chat!

T

The tale of the first Hearth's Warming Eve is one steeped in tradition, celebration, and myth. It is a critical piece of Equestria's heritage spanning the centuries; a tale retold time and time again in song, festivals, and plays. However, any shrewd historian understands that folk stories can change dramatically over time. Details are shifted around, names and locations change and evolve with the language, some parts are even forgotten or lost. When a group of modern-day Equestrians unearth something mysterious in the ice, they soon learn the truth of their Kingdom's founding, from a unicorn who witnessed it directly.

Rated 'T' to be on the safe side. Human tag added due to a brief scene in the middle of the story.

I like it, but tech nearly always beats magic, unless the technology is around roman to dark ages in terms of advancement.

Well, I think that is what is implied...

To everyone who has favorited or read this story, thank you. I'm now announcing that this story will be expanded beyond its original scope.

Within a month or so, this story will be reworked as "The Lost Legends of Equestria", and will explore even more of Equestria's obscure history. Again, thanks for your support.
