At first I thought it was deliberate that you spelled Bizikry differently the first three times you mentioned its name, but then you started being consistent.

OK, I'll read it. My grandmother always told me to understand other cultures and religions to have harmony. Maybe I can understand Horsemasterist faiths better.

((I so love creation myths! They are very interesting - La Vallett1))

Creation myths are always fascinating, they can show links between otherwise foreign cultures.

In the many universes we have seen the story is the same: from nothing comes chaos, from chaos order, order comes life. Yet how it's told is always different. It may lack the poetics of the humans Book of Genesis, or the complexity of our Book of Dawn, but story still has the power of belief. A power that not even the greatest of tyrants can quench.

- Rev. Aurum Apple, Shehpard of the Church of Concordia of the Ponyland Circuit

((I'm with 3824136 on this, creation myths are always interesting, and I've been tempted to do my own... except they would lack ponies))

Turning to the YELLOW mare with a golden brown mane, the horsemaster continued. "You shall be called Butterscotch, and you shall give birth to the great line of Pegasus ponies who will fill the skies." A cluster of butterflies appeared on the BLUE mare's flank. "None will be able to match their great speed in the air, and they shall call the clouds their second home."

So I guess Butterscotch changed from yellow to blue? :rainbowderp:

I wouldn't trust what this parchment says as far I could throw it. Considering how completely fixated these losers are on demonizing and minimalizing the Alicorns.

It always comes down to the Abomination doesn't it? So much strife in two worlds caused by the same being. He nearly killed the Great Mother, he nearly brought ponydom to it's knees, he wiped out nearly six thousand years of history and culture. Even if Discord is a far greater evil, even he will not be remembered with the same hate as Tirek.

-Rev. Aurum Apple

So, basically, the Horsemaster faith was invented after the fall of the Alicorns and retconned itself into being an ancient lost faith after the fact.

That's what I'm getting from this anyway.:ajbemused:

Worshiped the messenger, forsake their goddess.... yet, yet gave equality to both stallions and mares. Religious tolerance is always a tricky thing, this is a passage I am unsure how to truly respond to.

There may be some embellishment from the horsemasterist records, but both the horsemaster and the golden crown have shown up, and the horsemasterists have appeared in written records as far back as Starswirl the bearded, even earlier.

Hmm... it seems to me that this is reading far more like your standard holy book than a history book. It comes off like that by rejecting the Horsemaster, the Tribes doomed themselves. But I will continue to read, and perhaps the truth will reveal itself. And I do know that holy books are always biased to their parent faith.

3835961 It is a holy book.

I know, I know. I should have expected this, but at times I wish to more about the history as opposed to propaganda. I may be a priestess in Mother Church, but I do have training as an historian, and times that training wishes itself to be known.

-Rev. Aurum Apple

So far I gotta say this looks interesting. I'm curious about how this will turn out. So on I go to the next chapter!

3837628 I have to agree, this book reads more like propaganda and less like a Holy Text.

In a way all holy books are propaganda for their parent faith, some are better than others. It also depends in how the books are interpreted.

-Rev. Aurum Apple

Another spectacular story of yours. I must say, you have to be one of the best authors on here, and certainly one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite.

Thanks! ^^ this was the origins of my fanfic universe, and I wrote it to read like a religious text. I hope you enjoy the rest of my writings! ^^

I appreciate the nods to previous generations, but this story really needs to be edited.

All of my stories really need to be edited, I'm having an editor go over my other works now- and this piece really isn't my best work. You want my showpiece story, try 'the magnificent six' the first in my series.

I like the additions of the G2s
