Life in Equestria returns to normal after the six friends defeat a powerful dragon. But bizarre dreams leave Rarity struggling with new emotions. While trying to come to grips with her feelings, Rarity realizes the ordeal might not be entirely over.
As Rarity's friends struggle to help her, Twilight Sparkle must figure out what the imprisoned dragon wants before it's too late.

The premise of this story was based on a dream that I had. The story starts out a little slow at first, but quickly builds. I'm very happy with this story. If you like it, tell others. I hope you will enjoy reading it!

A sequel is already in the works.

Right now all I can think of while I read this is "Get some bloody help Rarity!" and "This is good story."

I hope everypony is enjoying the story so far!

I like where this is going!

What the hay has Rarity gotten herself into? :raritydespair:

I'm working on the sequel!

I couldn't help but make an account to comment on this story. Now that I'm here... Well that's rambling.

I like the story. Its pace seems good, even in the beginning, at least to someone as new to all of this as I am. There are a few grammar errors here and there, nothing story breaking. The only thing that I have to really comment on, is the ending.

I know you have a sequel in the works, but the ending really felt... Rushed. Yes, I noticed how much longer it was compared to chapter one, but right at the point where everything seems to be falling out of place (or into place depending on perspective) the story suddenly has that falling action drop-off.

Like, a "it's all done" kind of feeling. The quick acceptance of Rarity's decision, the quite brief battle, all of the epic build-up towards this ending. It feels almost like the last chapter could be more of an opener rather than the closer for this epic tale. The story had already hinted that Salazer was stronger than he had appeared, but other than the initial scuffle, they (Luna and Celestia) kind of gave up when they had a clear shot to put Rarity down after the dragon's departure.

And then Rarity's final answer, when she finally declares her stance. Despite everything that happened, perhaps one last toss and turn with the perspectives, with the feelings that led her to that decision probably would have been very invigorating for the reader.

So yeah, just that last scene, in my opinion, that kind of brought a need to comment. I am looking forward to the sequel.

It's Toothless' evil uncle Salazar. :coolphoto:

This may seem random to point out, but this kind of loses its "slice of life" factor if, at no other point, where it becomes clear just how important Salazar and Rarity encountering each other is to Equestria's future.

Thank you for the comments, Strythio.
I've taken your advice and used part of the climax in the opening chapter.

Why does this story not have more views / comments 0_o

I am enjoying Rarity's gradual corruption quite a bit.

Any update on the sequel?
