One nasty miser. Three ghosts. What the Dickens is this? Why, it's a wholly gratuitous Christmas Carol parody, released just in time for Christmas according to the Julian Calendar! Contains footnotes, pointless asides, and a highly disappointing third act!

This is a pretty well written piece of comedy you have there. Are you naturally funny, or do you have a process to your madness?

Thanks. I guess comedy is just what I do best. I've never really thought about how I do it, though.

I must admit, when I read this story, I wasn't fully satisfied, and thinking about it a little, I believe I found the reason why: to my taste, this story focused too little on Suri Polomare. She is visited by the ghosts and learns her lesson, but I can't figure out much that sets her apart from any other pony being visited by them. Therefore, the story feels somewhat generic to me.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is, I would have wished for more Suri Polomare.

(Another thing that is hardly fair to you as an author that I couldn't really go for were the footnotes. Fimfiction doesn't provide the means to read them effectively. It's either reading the footnotes at the designated time and losing the sentence you just read as you browse the entire story, or wait and read all of them at once, out of context.)

I would have wished for more Suri Polomare.

Never thought I'd ever read that sentence. :p

In seriousness, though: yeah, you're right. Looking back on the story, I guess I could pretty much cross out Suri's name and replace it with some other and it wouldn't really affect the story at all. Guess I need to work on characterization a bit more.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. It means a lot to me.

I interpret it that way, that this was done on purpose, for comedic effect, because it's a comedic story, and not a flaw.
