Nice little piece

This is the first Coco fic I've read, and I've loved it. Indeed, we need a tag for her.

... Is it me or is her name a reference to Coco Chanel?

A very pleasant read. One of the better fics to use Coco as a character that I've read.

Keep up the good work.

This is a wonderful little story you've made here. It's a nice little slice of life that feels like it could potentially happen in the show, and that I feel that way says something about how well you portrayed Rarity and Coco. Speaking of Coco, it's also interesting to see just how much character development you managed to give her in such a short piece without any of it feeling forced.
All in all, this was short but sweet, much like the feeling you get after drinking a good cup of coffee. I hope this story gets more views, and I hope you have more success in your future as a writer.

Thanks, that's real nice of you to say. I tried to make Coco have a voice distinct from Rarity's despite being a part of the same world she is, and I like how she turned out; maybe a little more urban than Rarity, but still kind of fresh and naive.

Very nice.
Interesting position on Rarity's coat. Most fics that bring it up tend to take the position that Rarity's white coat as striking and regal. The idea that she finds it boring is something I haven't seen touched upon before. For some reason I really like that particular bit.

That's been my headcanon for Rarity for a little while now, I just never had any place to put it. She comes from, for lack of a better word, "common" stock -- one look at her parents is enough to tell you she's spent time cultivating her sophistication rather than being born into it -- and I always got the impression that she tries make herself fit into the high-class world rather than it coming naturally. I really like the moments where her refined image is put aside a little (running in the Sisterhooves Social, various moments it. Being. On), and also when she can give up the high-class life for the things she really wants (not throwing her friends under the bus at Fancy Pants' party or just recently saying how she didn't care she didn't win during Fashion Week), because it shows so much more depth to her than just a prissy diva who's, oddly, the token extremely girly character.

Rarity is complex, man.

Undoubtedly complex mate.
That's just one of the myriad of reasons why she is the show's best character.

when she offered to be mentor me.

^ grammar error.

Pretty good. I like this take on Coco, it matches with how I see her.

It`s a good story!

This was beautifully done, I can understand reluctance about first person, but you capture Coco's voice flawlessly.

This was cute.

I don't think it needed or tried to be bigger or heavier than that. It succeeded marvelously at what it aimed to be.
