I'm surprised you asked me. I would say, I would love to read the backstoreis of your OCs. The more you know about a character the better. Personally, I would read those stories or profiles in a heart beat. Great chapter with the proposal. Is the epilogue going to be the wedding or Blue's first child?

But as I said, you should definitely try a new style in writing. Instead of adding the dates, let the audience figure out what time the paragraph or the chapter is set in. Add a little bit at a time, like "x happened a year ago" or "I can't believe that was just a few months ago", don't add the date.
Might end up rebooting this sometime in the future, I don't know.
