I gel like it would have been amazing if Drake showed up when she was trying to write the scene, read it, and got the wrong idea if (u know what I mean) but don't actually make it happen, just make Daring explain it to him so it ends up super awkward.

Ha, I used "Fifty Shades of Hay" in my stories before, but I like yours better.
I thought it was pretty good. Neighthan Drake is a brilliant name. I just wish you didn't write "A.K. Yearling" so much. Maybe just shorten a few of those to "A.K." or just "Yearling" wouldn't make it seem so much, but that's just me nit-picking. It's good, and it deserved my like.
Diamond's Tiara's letter at the end was comedy gold.

I can totally understand where Daring is coming from. I've tried to sit down and write a clopfic before... But then I can't of any sexual experiences i've had that haven't been awkward, or that could at least be applied... Then I try to conjure up a situation, but I lack the ability to form a solid idea... Then my neuroticism kicks in, I notice the story is way too short because i'm a blunt writer and I suck at prolonging stuff, don't really know how to make the characters seem like themselves...
And so I go to Google, and look at cute pictures of ducks while trying to contain my nontalented writer's rage

Reminds me of a movie I don't know the name of, of an author who could travel through time, and writes his own life events as fiction, and his publisher asks how his 'main character' doesn't realize his love interest is cheating on him when it's so obvious . . . yeah.

NOW THIS is the humor and story telling that comes. Daring Do being real? Blah. Daring Do being the alter-ego of the author and basically having a Bruce Wayne or Clark Kent thing going on, and having to deal with fandom imprinting their tastes and opinion onto her adventures that she fictionalizes? Priceless.

It is in no way whatsoever illegal for her to read fanfiction of her own work. There are some employee contracts that have such stipulations, but she is not an employee. She is the sole author. Yes, I know this was ages ago, but still.
I feel like the ending wasn't nearly as funny as the title promised. The stuff up to and including the romance scene was funny, but the rest is like... Everyone's being very reasonable. What gives?
I like the way everyone is being reasonable, it serves to contrast the ridiculousness of demanding a hollow sex scene out of the given story.
It's silly yet realistic at the same time. A mix between mature dialogue and awkward humor.
I like this kind of narrative alot.
