For Rarity the mirror has become an instrument of torture. Everything she runs across is a reminder of the inevitability of old age and loss of her beauty. Convinced she can keep her youthful looks, she ventures into the EverFree Forest for answers. During a chance encounter with a mysterious pony, her wish is granted. However, Rarity is changed into a vampire, who's sole purpose is feeding her bloodlust. However she is not the greatest threat. The mysterious pony Rarity had come across is an ancient evil, merely using Rarity as a puppet and who is bent on the elimination of the Royal Sisters and conquest of Equestria.

It's not a bad fanfic. I just found it to be a little fast paced and slower in some area's.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for reading and critiquing my fan-fic. This is my first foray into fictional writing and I appreciate you providing me with feedback.
Does anyone still find themselves coming back to this story again and again? Because I do.
Despite its age, it's flaws, and the fact the writer's account hasn't been used in a while, there's a certain element to "Entombed by Vanity" that makes it one of the better vampire themed fanfictions I've read.
It's campy, but not cringey; a bit inconsistent in pacing but never too fast or slow; a little wooden, but far from dull or dead.
It's...authentic. And that final line! It almost reads like an old translated fairy tale, and continues to resonate with me with every reread.
If this was your first fanfiction, then, assuming you kept writing, your current work must be marvelous.
