How long has it been since their world has had peace? For Celestia, the moments where she could truly be at ease were far and fleeting in between. Even now, as she watches her little ponies head into a great challenge, her actions always defined the past, and perhaps the future still.

Wheeljack has always been a Wrecker. He always has, he always will be. He doesn't play nice with the chain of command. He breaks everything he touches. And yet there was something that drew him to this world so many years ago. And on this day, when an old foe returned, Wheeljack has to face up to the past.

This was a fast read. I am not sure what to think of that.:applejackunsure:
Nonetheless, the story was good, the characters were true to their tv-show counterparts and there were almost no grammatical errors I could find.

One question: Why is there no mention of any Predacons? I would have loved to see Predaking fighting against those Terrorcon things.:twilightsheepish:

I had considered the Predacons in the initial draft, but after deliberation I felt that they would unduly clutter up the story's flow. With such a huge cast, there had to be trimmings somewhere, and I can assure you Predaking and his companions will be showing up later on in the story. Especially after Wheeljack and Celestia all but hijacked the story writing process, there was little I could do.

I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and I have an excellent pre-reader who is well versed in grammar and finding the things I missed over the course of many years working together. So the grammar angle is all but covered.
