That's a big 10-4 on that, buddy. Luna needs somepony, male or female, that will complete her emotionally, physically, sexually---all the adverbs needed to describe Luna's psyche. We all mention and talk about how much the Nightmare Moon event happened. But we truly have not dealt all the way down as to why Luna has never gotten someone.
We know why Nightmare Moon happened, but we really truly don't know how. And the reason is that the why is too damn easy to understand, but it's insanely and infinitely difficult to know how to understand. And like lots of ponies have said, if we ignore our history, we are doomed to repeat it.
I think that when Private truly understands why his ancestors reacted and did what they did literally centuries ago, then we have a bit of a way to understand Luna's loneliness and depression. And at that point, then Luna will have her own special somepony. I mean, even Celestia has her boyfriend in the dragocorn Voidera. That tells me that there is somepony there for the Princess of the Night.
3723120 Couldn't put it better myself. And I am starting to worry because of all the build-up we been getting since Case 13 of the first season (The halloween one) concerning Luna. Seeing Luna so sad in this series and happy with another OC in my friend's Bluecatcinema's stories just makes me wish that Jacoboby1 gives Luna the love she desperately needs before something goes horribly wrong.
After reading this and the past few entries in the series, I am confronted by a single important thought...
At this rate her sexual frustration is going to cause more problems than all the villains combined.

I hope during the summit Prince Ember may go on a date with Luna. That is the only way out of this peacefully without it blowing way way out of the porportions. Lets just say I see a future when Nightmare Moon returns.
