This story is a sequel to Celestial Tortures Book II: Nightmares

Having banished her own flesh and blood to the moon high in the skies, Celestia had done the seemingly impossible. Torn apart by both sadness and depression, the mighty alicorn of the sun has to learn to live with her mistakes. Fallen into a deep depression, Celestia can only pray that time would be kind to her.

Sadly enough for her, other creatures in the land think it is the perfect time to strike there and then. The ever so illusive race of the changelings is knocking at her doorstep and they are everything but kind. A plan treacherous enough to make the princess fall even further from the stand she once stood on. But as with everything, one can only push a pony so far until the wires in the head snap.

A thing which both Starswirl the Bearded and queen Chrysalis will discover by time itself. And that very thing, is not in their favor. Unlikely heroes, villains and alliances will be forged when Equestria itself is heading towards the darkest twilight.

The final piece in the trilogy that began ever so long ago.
The entire story was written in just 3 long days, but so worth it in my eyes.

Damn this actually gives me a newfound respect for my favorite villain

3934716 Who, Chrysy? And if I may be so blunt to ask, in what aspect did she gain it?

Hey Rares I was wondering..... after this one would you do one with King Sombra? I know it was before Luna became Nightmare Moon but could you do it.... please?

3939066 Kinda beats the concept of it being a trilogy, now doesn't it? And since all three of the stories overlap with one another, getting Sombra in a direct sequel won't be easy. Don't count too much upon it as Sombra is actually my least favorite villain from the show, but perhaps I can be making something with him.

That is to say, something in which he is not, abused for my own pleasure.

3935146 How she was treated by her superiors being able to fight against her will is saddening but it did give her the perk of no mercy but no thats not the reason for my newfound respect. The fact that she is out for revenge and a reason for her to invade gives me a newfound respect and gives a new point of view on The Queen.

Wonderful chapter.

3974768 Now that is what I wanna hear!

If I may ask, any part that really stood out for you? Just curious.

3974861 Near the end when Chrysalis sat on her throne.
