Twilight - er, sorry - PRINCESS Twilight goes to visit her brother Shining Armor at the Crystal Empire one day, and is left alone for a bit while Shining Armor goes off to deal with something important. Bored out of her mind, she decides to look through some stuff in the attic of the Crystal Palace (because, well, why not? I mean, she IS curious after all), and stumbles upon a video-tape recording taken from the wedding.
Twilight watches it. She discovers how Shining Armors's wedding vow rehearsal went.
