A simple fourteen year old girl writing simple stories simply for the fun of it. Fan of a loooot of video games and cartoons, o you might see me around a lot. I don't post many stories nowadays, tho.

T

Equestria and all that lived in it are dead. But there is a group of ponies who can't die because they are immortal, and they yearn for death... But which would you rather, finally dying, but for a price, or living forever with the ones you love, but at the cost of someone else's life?

Twilight Sparkle has a choice, but which one will she choose?

Takes place ten thousand years after "Magical Mystery Cure."

I really want to like it as it brings up themes and ideas I like to see in fanfictions, but the writing seems subpar and unable to grasp the full complement of emotions that such actions and reactions would produce. It's some pretty heavy stuff, but it's hampered by clumsy dialog that does not cover the full scale of loneliness immortality would incur.

3688452 I was a bit rushed, so I couldn't put my full potential into it. I kind of just wanted to get it over and done with. Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it and will try to pay more attention to things like that in the future. :twilightsheepish:

You know that now I need to drink my self to sleep because this made me cry and lose my manly points :raritycry:

whoa whoa wwhoa whia whoo whao whaie whoe wohe WHOA!
these alicorns are IMMORTAL not INVINCIBLE!
the definition of immortality is "the ability to live forever, or eternal life" which means there is no way you can be killed by old age.
YOU CAN, however, be killed by ANYTHING else that is dangerous or harmful.
the definition of invincibility is "impossible to defeat, destroy, or kill." which Twilight seems to be.
so unless they are invincible and you just haven't said that yet or unless that's what your head cannon is telling you, u don gofed :twilightsheepish:

Other than that, great story so far! I always love sadfics that tell about the issue of mortality in these alicorns! It's a great premise! :pinkiehappy:
anyway, must read on!!! :twilightangry2::flutterrage:

3688981 You dont lose man points for crying it means you are sure of yourself and who you are and says you have feelings so cry it shows how true to yourself you are.

3690587 I don't need man points. I'm a girl. :rainbowlaugh: But I agree with you. Man points mean almost nothing when it comes to stories. But, it is kind of weird to cry from a story a twelve year old made.

3689500 If you haven't figured it out already, in this story they can die of old age. But only a very, VERY, VERY old age! This Is important to the next story; the sequel, in which a certain villain will appear in! I won't tell who though. :raritywink:

3703029 Ok that was for DarkROVinyl, and the reason someone would cry from this is because of the feelings of dread and lonlyness, The curse of immortality brings. Imagine all your friends and family just die, right before your eyes and you can do nothing. It is a terrible feeling, if I was as long lived as they are I would be trying to kill myself every waking second. That is why people will cry because of a story a 12 year old wrote.

10+ likes! Time for the sequel! It will have to wait a bit though, because I'm working on a brand new story. It's called "The Magenta Assassin", and I think you'll really like this one! :raritywink:

3731125 Thanks, BFF! Can't wait for your first story!
