Yes a few weeks. Unless the story is truely gripping, I read other stories at the same time. Other times I get distracted and come back a few weeks later.

I mean, have you ever read a fandom for weeks, months on end and never get bored with it? That's what happened to me when I read Star Wars fanfics. I needed change, so then I shifted to Harry Potter, then Teen Titans, some Twilight, and finally Naruto. But even after all that the text grew stale. Then I discovered FIM. Been content since Summer of 2012 with some other fiction material to keep things fresh.

So the few weeks are present to also take into account of RL. Random things happen and I can't stay couped up reading fiction all day.

I tried reading this and honestly, I am not even through the first chapter and I'm lost. As in, I feel like this is a squeal to a story I have not yet read. Not to mention the description doesn't help either in figuring out what the hell is going on. I should not be left with this many questions upon starting a story. Not half way through the first chapter anyways.
Like, what is the 'Blast' that the description mentions? why/how is Celestia gone? Why doe sit seem like everything has gone to shit?
Not to mention it feels really out of character (I mean, since when did Rarity become so cynical of her friends?)

I'm glad i took the time to read this. It was confusing at the start but it all becomes clear as you read on. I can honestly say i have no idea what all the thumbs down are for. This is a good story and very well written. I'll definitely be on the lookout for a sequel to this so I hope you don't let the ratings get you down.
