Apple Bloom has long been searching for her special talent alongside her closest friends, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. Each day brings a new adventure, and the restless fillies tackle every challenge with varying results, but to no avail. One day, however, Apple Bloom notices a connection between her two best friends which sparks new potential within her for a destiny she never saw coming.

I've often found fault with opinions on coloration. Sometimes character colors are to hard to identify, and people express different ideas about what this or that looks like. Take Rainbow Dash's eyes for example. Some people say they're pink, others call them magenta, and still others (myself included) think cerise or rose. Similarly, some people think Apple Bloom is highlighter yellow and others bright green. It's a matter of perception. ^_^

When in doubt, I always refer to the character's entry on the MLP:FIM Wiki.
Applebloom's entry gives her coat color as "pale, light greyish olive" -- which, if you then click the link and follow it over to the RGB Chart for that color, puts it very definitely in the "yellow" portion of the color palette.
(There is a color called "pale lime green" which is similar in color values, to be sure, but when you use the words "lime green", people are generally going to think of this color, not this.)
