Yes, this is amazing, even if I think that the way he was so easily "defeated" was a bit too easy for the pony who did it. After all Discord IS the god of chaos and is still incredibly strong.

I really like the concept of baby Discord being raised by Fluttershy. I think it has lots of potential.
I thought it was odd how quickly Fluttershy figured out Discord was truly a baby. He is a shapeshifter and a prankster after all.

I haven't read this yet, though I fully intend to. (I LOVE Baby Discord!)
I think it should be addressed that he might dislike being babied at first. However, my impression of a ready answer is that, if he is aware that he is now helpless, once he gets over such a new and bizarre feeling, he would have sense enough to recognize that he needs help.
If he was genuinely friends with Fluttershy beforehand, and he is open to new experiences, it would make sense. It could be that he never had a mother to begin with, which is possible depending on the handling of draconequus reproduction, or from him being the only one.
Alternatively, he is looking for old experiences that he hasn't had in a very, very long time. Considering that he's well over a thousand years old, and theoretically immortal, it could be nostalgia, or that the novelty has returned after such a long time, or just that he desperately needs comforting after such a traumatic experience.
If he trusts Fluttershy, then I think he'd be open to letting her mother him. Either way, it works so long as she doesn't get on his nerves.
Crap... now I feel like giving this idea a shot myself. Noooo... I have 5 WIPs as it is, and one finished story that just needs revising and a fresh editing before publishing.

What I like about this fic, is that for now, it gives me same feel as an actual episode would. It's so packed with awesomeness but it just flies through the story. This is not a problem in my opinion, but I'd like to see as much of cute Discord taken care by Fluttershy as possible.
And nice job, the villain is "meh" but at least it's not "ridiculously meh" xD
I can see Dark Magic being able to do that to Discord, but only Dark Magic. And since we know near nothing about Sombra, it's fine to throw a brother in.

And about the villain, I'll try to make him more interesting and less "meh". But I did figure Dark Magic would probably be the only thing that would stop Discord. I'm planning on writing some more about Noctis, like his past with Sombra. I'll most likely write in the form of a seperate story/one shot since i don't see any places where I might squeeze a chapter about them in.
As for more Discord and Fluttershy, there will be more in upcoming chapters. This story does revolve around those two, after all. So don't worry about not seeing them.

3652610 I'm still working on Noctis, but he and Sombra were seperated when Celestia and Luna defeated them. Sombra was able to return, but Noctis had used much of his power fighting the princesses, so it took longer for him to gather enough strength to resurrect. But that theory is still being worked on, I'll be working on a little side story (most likely a one shot) about Sombra and Noctis that will hopefully anser your questions better. In this chapter, I justwanted to establish who Noctis is, laer chapters may uncover more about him. And keep an eye out for my Sombra/Noctis side story.

The only reason it's"meh" so far is because I simply don't know anything about it.
It's actually more of a "cool meh" than "nah meh"... lolwat
So yeah, the villain seems pretty awesome, just a bit overpowered but HEY! Villains are always a bit OP in a way!
