This was.... this was something else. I haven't read any other cupcakes sequels and I figured "why the hell not?"
I feel deeply for Pinkie right now... even more so then when I read the original cupcakes and my flooding emotions for Dashie. Seriously this was actually really good, despite it being way to grimdark for my tastes. This actually had a flowing story and didn't seem to random, unlike the original cupcakes which in my opinion was too random, and had mindless killing. Maybe I enjoyed this one more because the the scarring effect the original cupcakes had left on me and it made it that much worse to reopen closed wounds?
This story didn't seem to have to many errors despite a few typos. As much as it hurt to read this, especially that part with a certain organ, this was a good read. You've earned my like and favorite

I'm just curious, why Cupcakes?
I no longer begrudge authors their themes, but why would you want to set a story in a universe with so much stigma.
I've encountered you in comment threads and read some of your other stuff, so I would actually be interested in reading an original fic by you. Even a gluefic. But being a Cupcakes universe fic... I'm not going to. I read Cupcakes and it was competent enough for what it set out to do. It's spin offs and sequels and alternate endings... totally unnecessary.
I would much rather prefer to read a fic that was not directly related, rather inspired by the original like Butterflies or a unique and effective horror with less blatant gore like Love.Sick. even a weird alternate universe fic like Rainbow Factory, though that fic was just trying way too hard, or a reimagining like Rocket to Insanity.
Cupcakes was a dead horse long before you decided to put your boots to it.
(I didn't rate this nor did I read it. I am not commenting to either disrespect this fic nor yourself. I am genuinely curious as to the motivation behind writing a new fic in such stagnant waters.)
313702 I see what you are going for there, and yes Cupcakes is definitely a "dead horse" (epic unintended pun) but at least read the story before ranting out all of this. I do agree with coming up with new things instead of rewriting endings to other stories but this was actually really good. The author had an idea of how he/she wanted to portray Pinkie Pie, and what he/she wanted to happen, unlike a few other endings to Cupcakes (I went and read a few to see if they were this quality, nopeylopey.jpeg)
Give this fic a chance, it's quite short and isn't a waste of your time. If you've read things like Cupcakes or Rainbow Factory then you should generally enjoy this fic, or not, depending on how the "grimdarkness" hit you. Either way I do agree that people should come up with new material rather then rewrite/add to older works. I did enjoy this fic however, although I wouldn't want to read ANOTHER Cupcakes ending.

I agree with almost everything you said however the reason I won't read this is simply because it is a Cupcakes fic. It's like watching 2 men have sex. There's nothing wrong with that but it won't turn me on.

314418 I respect your opinions on not reading the fic as it is quite "Cupcakey" and I also agree with your comment on gay sex. It's not my thing, and I don't wanna read it, no offense to anypony who does. The fic itself was really gripping in my opinion and Pinkie's personality was captured perfectly with my headcanon, but I won't make anypony read something they don't want to read.
Regardless of anything I do want to mention that your avatar is quite interesting, I can't stop looking at it
313702 It was mainly since I wanted to "personally" wrap up the whole blob of amorphousness that was cupcakes. Giving in an end allowed me to sweep it under the rug and be done with it. If I do something, it pretty much vanishes from my mental registry. The second reason was to both do 1, and de-villanise Pinkie. Ok well, my other non-cupcake fics do that quite well. But I mainly wanted to give Pinkie a pair. In every other cupcakes blog, fic and whatever, she is almost always a spineless, whimpering coward. I as stated in the info, wanted to have a "better" Pinkie, one that could deal a blow, yet stand and take a blow as well. (even if the one it's based on is batshit crazy, I just hate wuss villains.)
And I tried once to write a grimdark fic to "prove to those fuckers". And I did mentally do it, I wrote down a plan for one, but it became to grimdark for me to handle writing. None died in it, but it created mental scars that would take months, if not years to get over. And for worst effect, I picked Derpy, Dinky and Raindrops/Carrot top as the 3 victims. It went hard on the "you don't need overrated gore to make grimdark, we're taking the psychological way. Best of all was the lack of OOC... if you disregarding a joke ending about Redheart "getting new patients for the psychiatrists". That and using BG ponies. I can however agree that that is the only "non-spin off" I'm made, or well, planned to make. I got 2 "stop knocking of cupcakes, here, have some examples", 1 Fallout Equestria short, 1 Story of the Blanks "trying to go deeper into the story" attempt. And one really bad "Pinkie being generic emo", which I seriously wonder why I even did write.

Thanks. It has a double meaning in that I tend to comment in a very opinionated smash mouth style and that I frequently end up needing a reminder not to come on too strong before I go too far. Think of it as the show's hoof in mouth running gag (yes that was intentional too).
It's origin is the adventure/brawler video game God Hand which is by Capcom and Clover the studio behind Viewtiful Joe and Okami. The Japanese commercial for the game is one of the most bzzarre things ever.
313524 Thanks. I wanted to try and give it some contrast. Even if I myself is kerfuffled over why she even had the whole thing in the first place. Equines are herbivores. Pretty much no parts, or much of them would ruin their digestive system and etc, etc.
And as said, original cupcakes was just after shock value. Like, you can write a long detailed story how a mother lost her child, or just grab her dead baby, shake the corpse in front of the camera going "Look at her dead baby! Feel sorry for her!". I took the more subtle route, even with quite allot of graphical detail. (as said, especially her poor pony pride)
Anyhow, overall, glad you liked. Seems like randomly posting my collection of fics came to some use heh.
