Part with overreaction, stupidly epic chasing and exploding head was funny and kinda dumb. Then you turn next scene into full-blown psychological drama without diminishing previous actions. I really like when author can keep his story consistant, even if it's hillarious one second and heart-wrenching next. Good job!

Man, I feel sorry of Cadence. Driven mad by a vision of the future. Now nothing will be what it was to be. Still you have to wonder why she didn't tell Celestia at some point. She has had more than some experience with prophecy.
I really, Really want things to work out well for Chrysalis. She gets so much hate in the fandom as an evil bitch; some stories like Echo the diamond dog even portraying her as a god-damn demon.
The fact that Cadence says that fate can't be changed is a load of crap. Fate isn't real; its an imaginary concept designed to soften the blow of failures by portraying them as inevitable. The future isn't set in stone and can be changed constantly based on little factors.
The Crystal Empire could easily be saved by Shining Armor and Chrysalis. Changelings would integrate with the Crystal ponies and the Crystal Heart would provide them with a limitless supply of food. It would be a new golden age for changelings and ponies alike.

I desperately wish I could favorite again, commenting will do for now. Chrysalis' depiction in this story is a refreshing change from the usual "ultimate monster" or "wangsty whiner". I REALLY wish for a happy (or at least bittersweet) ending for those involved, I even finding myself giving Cadance some pity; some, but i'm still rooting for Chrisy and Armor, now that I think about it, it would be hilarious if miss crazy rebounds to flash............
I heartily anticipate the next update.

Unfortunately, I do seem to have a problem where every time I promise an update, it gets almost indefinitely delayed. I'm just going to stop promising it at this point; but i feel it's probably safe to say that I do have the story planned out in it's entirety.
I just need to actually write the bloody massive thing.
As it turns out, Appendicitis doesn't help.
