Button's fear

Button couldn't believe it. How? Where? When? Why? Did she slip something in his drink or food? Button was too young! Wasn't he? What would his mom say? What would his dad say? Button was scared, scared for his life. Just then, an equally confused and scared Sweetie Belle woke up. They were afraid of what people would say when they found out. Button and Sweetie Belle realized, nopony had to know.

" Good morning! How are you two lovebirds doing?"said a mare of canterlot stature.

"Good I guess."replied a less than awake Button Mash,upon which he received a punch in the fore-leg from Sweetie Belle.

" Well I'm glad to see your well rested,I have to run some errands, so you two stay here and chit-chat."said the mare of canterlot stature.

Button's heart dropped into his stomach. His mom was going to kill him,his friends at school were going to hate him,what was he gonna do?He was getting up from the table when Sweetie Belle's hoof grabbed his foreleg and spoke;"We won't listen to them."

Button knew what she was talking about and he liked that idea."Sweets?"

"Yeah?"

"Why does your mane smell like popcorn?"
