Listie The Scribe Maid

Don't mind me, I'm just passing through. I might stop to write a "comedy" story every now and again, but I highly doubt it.

T

Behold! The amazingly true story of Star Shine "The Mint" Sparkle, the only member of the Sparkle family born as an Alicorn! This, my friends, is his incredible, spanning space, time and his quest to make potatoes a number! Witness him battling demons! Learn the ancient art of ASTRAL MAGICK! Gaze in awe, as a Druish pony reveals herself! All this -- and more -- in Star Shine "The Mint" Sparkle: The Rise Of An Awesome Alicorn (Who's Better Then Twilight)!

Mainly a parody of Mary Sue tro... Ah, who am I kidding? It's a direct parody of The Story of Star Shine Sparkle by Dragonlover553. Not intended as an insult or an attempt to be mean, no matter how much it looks like it. Rated "T" for Gary sTu.

To whoever moderates this story: I don't expect you to let this story go up, but seeing as how you let Star Shine's story happen...

I laughed, I cried, I learned how to love again. And I'm strangely honored that donuts somehow made their way into the text...

This is a master piece!:raritydespair:

This is why we need bad fics. What else could inspire such excellence?

Writing this certainly encouraged me to write the next chapter of one of my other stories, Past HELP!.

Glorious. :rainbowlaugh:

I just realized that the word count is 1337. Is that intentional or a funny accident?

3504895
To put some way, it had 1,336 words in it by accident and 1,337 on purpose.

I cried manly tears.

1337 words. Quite :rainbowwild:.

I almost didn't believe this actually got passed until I read the damn thing. To pass a bad fic is one thing, to pass a story specifically calling it out (even if not to insult it) is another. And yet I can believe it now.

Also, dat last line.

Seriously, this is great. I hope Dragonlover learns something from all of this.

This story made me feel emotions. I was blown away with the depths of its characters and the way the langue was used to convey images into my brain. I am not to proud to admit, I cried reading it. Also it was not 'The Story of Star Shine Sparkle'.

Bottom Line: Would read this AND stick my dick in a car door before reading The Story of Star Shine Sparkle again!

One Word Summation: Feelings. :raritydespair:

Awesome.

I thought it was hilarious, although honestly the breaking of the story was a bit of a let down. I wanted to go down and see how deep the bad OC fic would go. I think my favorite part of this was "a clan of Humani (a sub-species of humans) were eating some doughnuts (and sub-species of donuts)." I wish I could write jokes like that every day.

I wish I could write jokes like that every day, too. And would you believe that I just took that from someone in the comments of the original? It's true!

The story that inspired this has been on my radar again lately, and I saw the reference to this story (which I had forgotten about) in the comments.

Nearly two years later, and I still think it's funny. :trollestia:
