Hey, good start, not bad as far as some go. Here's a suggestion, leave your story for a day before coming back to it, once you do you can see obvious mistakes or errors that you made. You also need a proof reader. Other than that your off to a good start.

The main issue I see here is formatting. Make sure to use and indent when starting a new paragraph and people like it when you put a space in between paragraphs. This makes a world of a difference in the eyes of the reader.
