it's many chapters yet until he does and even then the story doesn't end but opens it up.
basically this first part is just John recounting how he gets to were he is in the story but keep reading and you will like the changes that happen.

Thanks again and I respect your opinion. HIE fics aren't everyone's cup of tea but I just had to make it that way, I had this fic in my head for a while trying to figure out how to implement it.

Quite stupid if you ask me. They let him go into the Everfree forest without any protection. The rest of them have control over magic or can use the magic that is inside their body. He doesn't know how to control his magic yet -,-.

Sorry i haven't replied works been a bitch, but i see your comment and i do understand but the way everything happend has happened for a reason and all the chapters will flow so you can see that reason. i am not purposly misleading you or writting bull, but if you read on the chapter it was supposed to be a straight path to Zecoras and back but they got lost. and plus John is 6' 2" and average build so really only the largest hunters will go after him. that's why the others gave their permission. also John doesn't have magic he has a high magical absorbency rating, like he absorbs more of the back ground magic of equestria faster than any pony else; but i won't say anymore than that.

I did write that Luna screamed but before she passed out the pain went.
however though horns are sensitive they are just bone, it's like breaking a leg bone. it will hurt until the body shuts down some pain recepters and it goes numb.
