Just an addendum, in theory, time travel is impossible in physics for a living (esistem many complications), but nothing distitui the journey of consciousness, or the individual ego if you prefer. While ever there should be a body to occupy, this must have similarities to the original. It was probably a way to enhance the Twilight spell of time. What can lead us, now the owner of the body that occupies Spike is in your body for giving a voyeur with Twilight: the fourth ... in the bathroom ... embracing ... clop!

In "Owl's Well That Ends Well," after Spike fights the chicken, he has both green and grey scratches on his scales. I presume the green scratches are his blood.
Sheesh, been a long awhile, hope this story is revived soon.
