After being rejected by Picard in "Q Who?", Q continues his sequence of self-destructive stupid mistakes by coming back to Equestria and promptly getting stuck in his statue again. The sudden return of all the emotions from a thousand years of his failed mission on Equestria is probably not going to help his mental state either. Story is complete but related to my other MLP/TNG xovers.
A page for this series now exists: Next of Kin to Chaos
"He'd paid Picard back for rejecting him... but Celestia hadn't just rejected him, she'd turned him to stone and left him there. If Picard deserved the Borg, then Celestia deserved a lot worse."
Are you saying that Q has a bit of a thing for Picard? (John de Lancie confirmed this as Canon, by the way.)
Either way, Hell hath no fury...

Yes. :-) I'm a Picard/Q shipper from way back... but I have a hard time wrapping my head around the concept of a monogamous immortal chaos entity, so, shall we say, I have many Q ships. I also ship Discord/Celestia because it's kind of like what if you crossed Picard/Q with Xavier/Magneto (my two favorite ships ever) and then made it het (I have no problem with slash, but I prefer het because I like female characters).
This was a fun read and a really cool idea! Great job
You're are a really good writer.
What a wonderful turn of phrase.
This needs a sequel.
