Facsimile

It's a wide, wonderful world out there. Keep your hooves underneath you and keep them moving forwards. I go by the name Tyro usually, but Fax works just fine! Feel free to PM me!

Rule Book should have seen the warning signs before taking the job: mysterious stranger, mysterious package, abandoned city, described as an easy trip there and back. Since when does that ever turn out right? But a thousand caps is hard to pass up.
The pegasus' luck might just turn around when left with a relic of an age long past standing at his side, who though just as lost and confused as he is most of the time, might just be his ticket to a much brighter future.
This is the story of a strange little robot with a far stranger purpose and a mercenary hired off of 'discount' boards and damned tired of it, fighting for survival against forces far better suited to surviving themselves, and with more important agendas on their minds.

Thought it was gonna be one of those brain robots. Still good though :trollestia:

Ooh, definitely interested! (At first I thought he'd found a Sweetiebot of some sort, hehe) :pinkiehappy:

Love this premise! You start out with what seems like a third person narration that reveals itself to be first person. That's brilliant! I don't think I've ever seen that before.:heart:

Also, beautiful description of the robot gaining consciousness. Well thought out for something being "born" that didn't first develop.

Only hit of criticism I can think of is for the pegasus. You keep referring to him as a colt and not a stallion. So he's a child then? Not unheard of for the Wasteland, but was a little confused given the cover art. He seemed older.

Will be keeping an eye on this one. In the meanwhile have a fav.

4686895 EEE! Thankies for the compliments ^///^. I worked really hard on the awakening section, too, so I'm glad it panned out well! I wasn't sure the transit from third to first person would work out, either, so I'm also glad of that! :pinkiegasp:

As for the referring to him as a colt and not a stallion, I use the term 'colt' rather differently from the normal way: for me, use of the term colt is the same as saying 'male' or 'guy'... but the term stallion is like saying 'man'. :twilightsheepish: It has a meaning that denotes a lot more masculinity in my use of it, and is reserved for particularly masculine males such as draft ponies or older ponies, and isn't strictly an age thing. Colt is a general use term for me!

5039316 Okay, fair enough.

Hope the next chapter comes out soon.

5039531 Working on it now, actually...! 4k words and counting!

Eeeee! Thankies!
I would like to know what you like most, if possible x3?

5235051 mostly the massive Ratchet and Clank vibe I'm getting from this fic

Wow...
i justvread your latest chapter, and i just gotta say: dayum! :rainbowderp:

Welp, i got done.

...um...
Can we please get a possible ETA on the nxt update, guy ( or gal, dont know... )? :scootangel:

5366496
I am a goat!
The ETA on the next part is highly dependent on how much I think people like what I'm posting, but I should be done by the end of this month >.>. I'm a slow writer because I tend to rewrite large portions as I edit.

I know that I for one love this particular fallout crossover fic, good nice quality ones like this one are --a rarity-- *rimshot*

Just read what's written so far, I rather enjoyed it and have very few problems with anything in it. I assume Rule Book is similar to Fish Legs from How to Train Your Dragon, in that he lists real world 'stats'? While I enjoy the overly analytical thought process of our mechanical protagonist I hope writing it won't burn you out, I can imagine it's very taxing. That's all I can really give feedback-wise for what is available.

This is pretty cool. An interesting premise, and good writing. I'm really diggin' it. Can't wait for more.

Well, writing for the robot isn't actually all that difficult, it's kinda something I'm used to from writing Wikipedia articles. Clinical tone, it's called. As for Rule Book, yes he is listing out and reasoning over statistics... which is up to people reading to determine if they're a real thing or not.
I'm a slow writer unfortunately, as I'm often very, very busy.... but I hope to see more on this story out soon! Thank you very much for reading!

5655170 I almost forgot about this fic... :rainbowderp:
Plz plz plzzz give us an update!? :raritydespair:

... Or, you know a chapter... :rainbowkiss:

Oh, nvmnd. I just saw your page, carry on. :scootangel:

This has to be the only Fallout: Equestria fic that doesnt include a footnote with the main char's stats or traits xd

5369349 You said a month! It has been... alot longer than a month... :fluttershyouch: I haven't forgotten you though. :pinkiesad2:

6538964
Sorries! I've been actually doing a lot of FoE roleplay and tabletop gaming in Fallout-related stuff.... I have a fair portion of the next chapter done!
I'm glad you haven't forgotten though <3! You can always PM me about things!

6539483 I'm a goat now too!
I don't know how to pm... :twilightsheepish:
