When two brothers awaken in terror after a nightmare, they decide that the best course of action is to spend some time together.

Author's Notes: A story based off of an experience I had with my little brother when I was littler. Written purely for the sake of sheer adorableness to test my hand at it. Hope you enjoy!

I think it's alright. The focus is on the characters, which I think is necessary for a story like this, and Rumble and Thunderlane act in character. There's not much setting, which isn't really needed since it doesn't play a huge role in it (as far as I know). The wrestling scene is nice, especially since it arises from something so simple as a noogie. It's a quick lighthearted tale that goes on between two brothers, and I can appreciate a story like that.

I will say this nitpick: I think you used the word "unabashedly" incorrectly, unless you're either trying to portray that Rumble's not upset about disturbing his brother at night/having a nightmare or trying to portray that he's doing this encounter not with shame, but with pride for trying to help his big brother. Also,

Celestia led Thunderlane over to a large guillotine. It’s [Its] looming figure towered over the pair,

There are some other things, but perhaps I'll save them for another story. For now, it gets an upvote from me.

This was an awesome and cute story. I don't have siblings, but I imagine it must be nice, and you made that nice feeling be shown all over this story.
