War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death. The Apocalypse Ponies who are said to arrive with the apocalypse and bring an end to the world. They cause death and destruction where ever they go. Countless die and none are spared.
The Apocalypse Ponies weren't always the mystical beings they are now. Everything starts from somewhere, but where did they start? How did they become the beings that they now are? What made these four ponies become the four legendary bringers of the apocalypse?

This story is broken into story Arcs, each one telling the story of one of the ponies. The arcs are in this order: Death, War, Famine, Pestilence. The first chapter of each act has an introduction that gives you a glimpse of what has happened in the world between the stories.

Yea, to be honest I was thinking that myself when I wrote it. And as of right now I am working on coming up with ideas for the other three.
The chapters on War might take longer than I originally thought. I have found I am not good at writing military-related or combat scenes. But, never fear! It will be done. Eventually.
First Death, then War, should I be right when I say that Pestilence will be next?

I was thinking of doing Famine next and Pestilence last. But the order the stories doesn't really matter, so idk yet.
Hey all, just wanted to give you an update. Since college started up again I haven't had much time to work on the story. We were kind of at a good place, since War's story just ended. (And I just realized I haven't posted the finale for his yet...>.>) Anyhow, the next story arc is Famine's, and i'll work on it when I can. Look forward to it, but try not to get your hopes up too high for it to come out soon.

I'm not entirely sure why, but I kind of like the whole attitude Death has towards War. It's not to official or dark, it's more of Death acknowledging the fact that he doesn't have to be alone anymore. Almost in a brotherly sort of way! I look forward to the future chapters. Pestilence's chapters are the ones I look forward to the most! Good story bro, Death's Chapters were actually tear-jerking, and a tear actually ran down my cheek when his father died! 4/5 Moustache Spikes.

4923935 That's part of the mystery of it though. Also if I did that I'd contradict a some of my previous things. Mainly the whole "They cannot revisit their own timeline" stuff like that.

I've decided to remove the Prologue. I think instead of focusing on what it was going for, I'll just focus on the lives of the Apocalypse Ponies for this story, and if I decide to later, write what the Prologue had wanted.

This story is f*****g amazing, a great idea of the four before becoming the horsemen.
I do hope that one day this might get a sequel or a story set in this universe (cause the universe itself is cool) but if not, this an amazing story anyway. Good job
