It's natural to contemplate the delicate workings of the world around us. Scootaloo spends some time contemplating a bit too deeply, something that Sweetie Belle doesn't seem to understand. What is the meaning of our existence? The answer might elude us, but sometimes, answers cannot be found; they must be made.
A short, nonspecific story written for One-Shotober.
Existential Scoot is best Scoot. <3
Well-written, offers us a realistic look at the inner workings of a character whose mentality we really haven't had a chance to explore canonically, and does it without losing the charm of the show. 10/10, would like again.
Oh, and extra points for reminding me of Calvin and Hobbes (now there's a crossover for ya!) ^.^
You are toys! Dance for my amusement!
Nice story, there. Well-written and thoughtful.

Twilight and Smarty Pants. Someone get on that. Now.
"Hey, you ever wonder why we're here?"
Legitimately the first thing I thought of when I saw this story.
As for the story itself...
Yeah, it's good.
*Grins* You really nicely capture the two different points of view and it definitely has a lovely feel of Calvin and Hobbes to it. One of your best works I think
damn scoots. That was deep.
Me: go deep
Scootaloo: What if we don’t actually exist?”
Me: too deep.
I have actually pondered the same question, and came to the conclusion that life is a game, but we are not the players. Someone controls us and our actions just like in a video game. A game like minecraft hardcore mode with lots of mods.
