Beauty of the night
Luna's moon was high in the night sky, and her and Nightmare Moon were in her study. Luna was doing some paper work and Nightmare was playing with a Luna doll that she gave her.
Nightmare played very quietly with her toy thinking about something a pony said to her today, "Hey Woona?"
Luna looked from her work at Nightmare, "Yes Nightmare, what is it?" she asked.
Nightmare crawled to Luna and looked up at her, "Do you wemembew when we twyed to take ovew Equestria togethew?"
"Yeah, I also remember being sent to the moon and having to wait a thousand years before we were freed." Luna replied shuffling a stack of papers together making them neat.
"D-do you evew think about doing it again?"
Luna looked down at Nightmare surprised, "Nightmare you're not thinking that we should try to take over again, are you!?" she asked Nightmare didn't answer but lowered her head.
Luna sighed and dropping her paper work she picked up Nightmare and put her in her lap, "Alright little one, what is with this sudden change of heart? I thought we talked about this you can't be trying to take over anymore, especially since you're a foal now." she retorted.
Nightmare looked up at her, pouting, "It's just that I had this talk with one of the workers today, and I was thinking about how everypony likes the Day more then the Night, how those snobs like Bwueblood get to sit on their flanks all day and while you and the ponies in the nightcore and-" Nightmare was cut off by Luna putting a hoof over her lips.
"Nightmare, ponies need the day as much as they need night, we cannot put the world in darkness just because of a few ponies." Luna retorted in a maternal way and giving Nightmare a nuzzle.
"But there aren't any ponies who wike the Night," Nightmare pouted, "what about those snobs and Bwueblood?"
Luna raised a brow, "Are you really gonna take the word of Blueblood and those snobs? They maybe...well snobs, but they work hard and deserve the right to be nobles, if they really were that lazy Celestia would have turned them to ash." she retorted.
Nightmare still looked unsure and Luna rolled her eyes, "Okay little filly, since you don't believe me how about you and me go out for a little stroll." Luna said getting up from her chair and putting Nightmare on her back.
"Well, otay I guess." Nightmare replied holding onto Luna's neck.
Luna smiled. Flaring up her horn she and Nightmare changed into indigo smoke there eyes the only thing visible to their form, "Alright then will go into the night!" she said and with that she and Nightmare went out the window into the night sky.

Later Luna and Nightmare got to Twilights house, Nightmare looked at Luna in her indigo form confused, "Why awe we at Princess Twiwight Sparkle's house?" Nightmares asked.
Luna didn't answer but motioned her indigo trail for Nightmare to follow, Nightmare followed Luna around the back above Twilights balcony, there she saw Twilight sitting on the deck with Sunset and Trixie in her arms.
Twilight looked down at the foals, "Alright girls, you ready for another night of star gazing?"
Trixie nodded her head, "Yeah, I love staw gazing." she said excitedly.
Sunset on the other hoof felt kinda nervous, "Yeah, wet's get this over with quick, I dun wike being out here at night."
"Ahh you'we just being a widdle baby." Trixie teased.
"Now Trixie, don't tease Sunset just cause she's a little scared of the night." Twilight scorned then looked up at the night sky, "Alright now can any of you two find me the Ursa Major?"
"Oh, oh there it is, wight there!" Trixie said pointing to the stars that looked like the shape of a big bear.
Twilight smiled, "Very good Trixie, now can either of you find me the Lupus major?"
"Is that it over there?' Sunset asked pointing to the next constellation.
"Good, now can you two tell me what these two have in common?" Twilight asked.
"They're both beasts that once fell to Equestwia and that still roam it to this day." Trixie answered proudly.
"And they both are one of the most beautifuw star constellations in the sky." Sunset commented.
Twilight giggled, "Yeah, I wouldn't say there the most beautiful stars," she retorted then looked up at the sky, "although if you compare stars to each other I think you would have a hard time cause I think the night is beautiful on it's own."
Trixie and Sunset looked at the sky, "Yeah it's weally is pretty isn't it?" Trixie said, Sunset nodded, "Yeah, it's kinda scawy to be out here at night, but when you look at the sky wike this it makes you feel kinda better like a million night lights in the sky."
Twilight nodded and looked down to see the foal starting to nod off, "Okay that's enough stars for tonight, time for you two to go to bed." Twilight said then getting up and putting them on her back she went inside and closed the door behind her.
Nightmare watched as Twilight left, "Wow, I didn't know ponies felt like that about the night." she said then she turned to Luna who had a big smile threw her smoke appearance.
"Well that's not all, come on there's more to see." Luna said then floating away her and Nightmare went to there next destination.

At Fluttershy's house, Fluttershy was trying desperately to put Rainbow and Lightning down for a nap. They were flying around ignoring their mother's pleads for them to stop and go to sleep.
"Girls it's getting late, aren't you tired of flying?" Fluttershy said watching the girls fly around the room.
Rainbow shook her head, "No Mommy, we're not even tiwed and the night still young." she retorted.
"Yeah! Can't we stay up a little wonger?" Lightning pleaded hovering over her head.
Fluttershy shook her head, "I'm sorry girls, but it's getting late and besides, wouldn't you like to take a little nap and sleep the night away?"
Rainbow frowned, "But Mommy the night is so fun thewe's night flying wewe a pony can sore thwough the night sky feeling the wind in the breeze and being up there with the stars.
"Yeah and not to mention the parties that wast all night long!" Lightning said imagining the parties she heard at night from here to that one ponies house with the crazy blue mane.
"Well when you're old enough you two can do all that stuff, but for now..." Fluttershy pause to jump into the air and grapping the foals by there tails she brought them down to the ground in her arms, "...you two are going for a nap."
Both foals groaned as they were taken to Fluttershy's room to there cribs, outside at the window Nightmare and Luna had watched the whole scene.
Luna looked from the window to Nightmare, "Are you satisfied now, my child?" she asked.
Nightmare nodded, "Yeah, you were right Woona, there are ponies that wike the night like us." she replied then made a very big yawn and Luna giggled.
"I guess that means your sleepy to huh?" Luna said and Nightmare nodded she smiled then picking up Nightmare on her back she flared her wings and started to fly her way home.

Once she got home Luna tucked Nightmare in her crib and kissed her on her head, "Goodnight, my little Moon."
Nightmare looked up at Luna and smiled, "Goodnight Mommy." she said then closing her eyes she went to sleep.
Luna smiled. Walking out the room, she turned out the light and went down the hall back to her work.

He kind of makes the rules in his stories where you may want to be a unicorn but he makes you a earth pony instead, just saying. I'm kind of split on the idea of being a unicorn or a pegasus.

Luna: looks over her paperwork and smiles as she thinks about nightmare, but something drew her attention from her thoughts as a haunting melody started to play somewhere outside. As she walked to the balcony she noticed a figure walking around the Lunar garden, by it’s shape and form she knew it only to be one creature. Once she had teleported to the ground she started to fallow the melody until she found Kit in his human form. Sitting on a tree limb playing a flute.) We see you have an ear for music.
Kit: I see you have a heart of kindness. (Kit rolled off the limp and landed in front of Luna with a smile.) I saw what you did this evening.
Luna: that was to be a moment between me and my daughter.
Kit: I did not mean to pry princess, I only noted that you and her where on an outing with out royal guard protection I only followed for protection, and you did not know of me until I mention that I was present.
Luna: Be that as it may, we would request you not to medal in family affairs.
Kit: as you wish, but might I ask you one question?
Luna: one question and then be gone. (Kit nodded a few times and then turned to look Luna in the eyes.)
Kit: Tell me princess with all that ponies say about Nightmare Moon, do you love her?
Luna: Do,… We,… what kind of question is that.
Kit: Well to be honest with how much ponies say how she is evil, I was curios on if that was starting to make you think of her differently.
Luna: never, she is my daughter.
Kit: and what most ponies say she is made of pure evil, but you don’t see that.
Luna: No creature is pure evil there is some good in all creatures.
Kit: So you say.
Luna: So we know, no creature is pure evil, not even Discord, who we know you’ve been associating with. (Kit nodded and then started to walk away.) Do tell me, what is your name?
Kit: I go by many names princess, you would have to be more clear?
Luna: then what might we call you?
Kit: You wish to know my real name?
Luna: Yes we would. (Kit looked around and then moved in close and whispered something into the night princess’s ear.) So that is your real name, then might we ask you where you come from?
Kit: not from this realm.
Luna: then what of your realm?
Kit: I’m not sure really, I’ve traveled so many that I’ve forgotten where mine is, to be honest I could be standing in my organ realm and not even know it.
Luna: what have you been doing all this time, where have you been?
Kit: Around princess.
Luna: What have you been doing? (Kit looked at Luna for a moment and then up at the full moon and the night sky filled with stars.) What have you done? (Kit looked at Luna and then started to look around once more before turning his attention back to her.)
Kit: Tell me princess you said every creature has some amount of good in them.
Luna: we did.
Kit: Then I thank you for that. (with that Kit snapped his fingers and vanished from sight getting Luna to blink several times as she looked around stunned slightly.)
Luna: But you didn’t answer my question.

Kit: sitting quietly on a random roof top of ponyville he smiled slightly as he felt the warm sun rays wash over him and kept thinking about Luna’s words from the night before.) There is some good in all creatures, it’s the one reason that every creatures deserves at least one other chance. (Kit said to himself as he kept thinking about what he was doing, after all it was just a bit of fun here and there no pony was really getting hurt, besides if he did stop he might not be able to hang out with Discord anymore.)
DT: HEY BLANK FLANKS! (Like nails on a chalk board Kit winced slightly as he turned his attention to the voice he heard, Diamond Tiara, resident bully of the village, and all around spoiled brat. As Kit watched he walk up to the trio that made up the Cutie Mark Crusaders he knew what was coming, he had seen it several times since he had arrived in this realm, this mean spirited little filly seem to go out of her way to make three of her classmates feel terrible that they hadn’t found their special talent yet.) Well if it isn’t rotten apple, bitter pear, and chickenloo.
Scootaloo: I’M NOT A CHICKEN!
Kit: don’t give into the taunt kiddo, it only makes her zero in on you more. (Kit thought to himself as he turned his attention to the scene unfolding before him.
DT: Could have fooled me Chickenloo, I really can’t think of to many other things that has wings and can’t fly.
Sweetie Belle: There are a lot of things that have wings and can’t fly, we learned just last week in class of pinguens, in the frozen north.
Kit: Sweetie Belle, don’t help it never helps. (kit said softly as he covered his face with his hand.)
DT: You’re right, but they don’t look anywhere near as homely, or scruffy as Chickenloo. Besides at least they have a purpose in life, unlike you three, I mean I guess when Rotten Apple grows up she can keep working on her families farm until she manages to kill the crops, you can work for your sister until the rest of equestria gets some real fashion since, but the only thing Chickenloo as to look forward to is being a grounded egg layer.
Scootaloo: why you. (Before Scootaloo could do anything she was stopped when Apple bloom stepped between her friend and DT.)
Apple bloom: she ain’t worth it Scootaloo, let’s just get out of here. (Reluctantly Scootaloo followed her friends away from the spoiled brat, turning their backs on DT, who didn’t seem to like it at all as she looked around to think of away to get even only to turn her attention to a near by garden and a tomato that looked slightly rotten.)
DT: HEY BLANK FLANKS THINK FAST! (As the three turned back around wondering what DT was talking about both Apple bloom and Sweetie Belle’s attention was turned to Scootaloo who had her eyes closed shut as she saw the Tomato heading her way only a split second after they had turned around, but when it didn’t impact she slowly opened her eyes wondering if DT had missed but only to see it hovering a few inches in front of her face.) What?
Kit: Clears throat and reveals himself standing on the roof.) Oh no what have you done, you’ve broken the peace that this village has had with the tomatoes for years, now we are all doomed. (with a snap of his fingures music started to fill the air getting the CMC and DT to look around as the rotten tomato seem to morph and grow a mouth, and two little eyes, only to smile before it turned to face DT.)
“Attack of the killer tomatoes!
Attack of the killer tomatoes!
They'll beat you, bash you,
Squish you, mash you
Chew you up for brunch
And finish you off for dinner or lunch!
They're marching down the halls
They're crawling up the walls
They're gooey, gushy, squishy, mushy

(As Kit started to sing the little Tomato started to float towards DT, who wasn’t scared at first until she noticed the little tomato seed teeth in it’s mouth, and then noticed how the rest of the tomato’s in the garden beside her started to float and also morph into little monsters.)
DT: You don’t scare me. (in a flash three little cheery tomatoes lunged at DT and bit down on her mane getting the little filly to scream out and flee only to be chased through the streets of ponyville by a small crop of tomatoes.)
Kit: having fun as he controlled the red menace kept singing, getting the attention of many of the residents of Ponyville.)

(By the time he had finished his song the tomatoes had cornered DT in an ally, and with a snap of his fingers her shrill scream could be heard all the way to Fluttershy’s house, and as the CMC quickly ran to the ally to make sure DT was alright, they tried to not laugh as a very enraged DT walked out covered in Tomato’s glaring up at Kit who only smirked. Which only seem to make things worst as it got DT to let out a scream of rage as she glared and stamped her hooves on the ground and then stormed off in frustration.
DT: DADDY!!!
Kit: Smiled as he could hear several ponies let loose with their laughter only after DT got out of hearing distance, but his smile seemed to wane slightly as his eyes caught a glimpse of SS glaring at him from Rarity’s home.) Well at least it wasn’t totally evil. (Kit snapped his fingers and vanished from sight, leaving SS to turn his attention back to his little play room where he sat next to one of her new favorite stuffed teddy bears.
SS: Oh he going to get his supew ted mawk my words he’s going to get his.
Any idea when next chapter will be up? I'm sorry if I sound pushy or impatient, but you keep leaving me wanting more.

anywho, i think I've figured it out. i seem to only enjoy the chapters where lightning and rainbow aren't acting to foalish (used instead of childish) and the same for twixie and sunset. the family meeting was a very good thing in my eyes.
luna and moon (just calling her nightmare feels like i;m being mean to her now) are so cute together. i really wanna know how those five foals will get along once they start goign to school, but that can wait. THEY'RE ALL SO CUTE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
