3981378 nope. The filly was Twilight. The bigger filly bullying her was supposed to be Sunset Shimmer(who won't be shown in this story any further). Serenity is completely unrelated to this.

And the name/cutie mark part...I just wanted to do something a little different. Not all OCs have done the name/cutie mark thing according to the show, heck not all of the characters have done it either.
It may not make all that much sense, but it's how I decided to go about writing my story.

Hey Kyle, long time no see. How've things been going for you? I've missed Finding Home a lot and thought about coming back to give it a little look.
No doubt one of the biggest regrets I have with my own story is the fact that I didn't take the time to flesh out the relationship between my OCs, they both fall in love with each other too soon if you ask me and there are a couple of other things that I'm not too keen on. That being said, I think what you've done so well with Finding Home is you took the time to develop the bond between Singer and Violet, it's a delightful love story that plays out between the two over the span of several years and the way it finally resolves in this chapter really warms my heart.

Thanks Skyfire! I really want to come back to making stories again. I just need to rekindle my motivation. But yeah there’s no right or wrong way of doing your characters love story as long as it isn’t a “fall in love in one day” type story.
