Tasked with traveling to another world to bring peace to rival species, her job is hard enough. Said job becomes even harder when deception rears its ugly hooves.

Crossover with Lion King? Interesting...
I think I kinda of started the lion king crossover .
Um I guessing it will be a fan a/u lion king world she going too.
Since the hyenas have never lived in the outlands . WIll this be set around scar/taka and Mufasa time as cubs or before that. Or set around the 2 main movies or nothing to do with any of it.
AN this one big oc pride lands.

3309477 Yeah, I'm usually better than that but it started out as a personal writing challenge just to see if I could pull it off and it rapidly became apparent that it wasn't gonna work, and I refuse to cancel stories. I have a lot of stories, some work, some don't.
3197288 I have seen the Lion King many times (sister is obsessed with the classic Disney movies), and this definitely feels like a oc style pride lands. And I believe it is set after the 2 movies since Zazu is a "faded blue bird" here. Stands to reason that if Zazu's color looks faded, then he must be kinda old, correct?
As a general comment: why in the world did the author use song titles as chapter titles? Especially songs that have no relation to the Lion King. It confuses me greatly.

3607180 The song titles very loosely relate to the content in the chapter. It was just something new I tried just for the hell of it. Trying new things is good, doesn't always work.

Scar is alive huh? From the burns, I'd say he suffered the fate he was supposed to originally, supposed to burn to death, but he somehow survived.
So Scar is still insane, but smart enough not realize that picking a fight with a much younger Lioness is suicide in his old age, interesting.
Fluttershy shook her head. "If you think I'm leaving without my friend, then you're insane. Nightmare Moon didn't stop me, Trixie didn't stop me, and Sunset Shimmer didn't stop me. No. It's time to finish this."

I was hesitant to say this before (spoilers, you know) and maybe it's just me, but the death scene was really lacking in emotion - so much so that I wasn't entirely sure the king had died. That should have been a key turning point in the story but it kind of just went flat.
To see what I mean, reread that scene again, but assume that he doesn't die. He's just exhausted and closes his eyes, but can't sleep because he's worried.
4839329 As I mentioned before, this story was one of my weakest on multiple levels. I never managed to execute it the way I wanted it, and I don't think its good enough to warrant a rewrite. But I do look over my past works now and again.
